Jack E. Robinson has a knack for clever 30-second ads

Nicely done.  He also did a good one back in 2006 when he ran against Steve Lynch for the House.

The problem with the ad is: (0.00 / 0)
1) Scott Brown showed up to the 96.9 WTKK debate and Jack E. after confirming did not.

2) Scott has debated at every opportunity presented to him. Including Western Massachusetts and The Boston Chamber of Commerce.

3) The only debate Scott has declined is one moderated by a donor to both Martha Coakley and Mike Capuano.

But yeah the ad is clever if not rooted in the reality you so profess to engage in.

That ad had nothing to do with reality... (6.00 / 1)
...after all, it was made by a Republican.  This ad is chalk full of the kind narratives Republicans use everyday spinning their message.  It does get fun though watching Republicans employ this strategy in primaries.

The reality is that as of right now there has not been a Republican primary debate. (0.00 / 0)
And it does not appear that there will be one.

Is it that both candidates want an hour long prime-time televised debate but no network is willing to go along?  Or is it that one of the candidate does not want an hour long prime-time televised debate?

won't be hear complaining when the GOP nominee runs an ad like this in the special election.

Fairness? The stations showed the democrats, why not a Republican debate?

LOL!! (6.00 / 1)
Are you really advocating for the return of the fairness doctrine?  You must be the only conservative in the country to be doing so.  :D

Just to echo Frank, (0.00 / 0)
"reality" is kind of irrelevant when you're talking about Scott Brown's excellent adventure.

Funny ad (0.00 / 0)
I haven't followed the ups and downs of the Brown-Robinson debate or lack thereof, but as a TV spot, that's pretty effective. I love the Brown cutouts and how they're used.

Tres cute. (0.00 / 0)
Do you really have to be an also-ran to come up with catchy and imaginative ads?  Geez.

This just in . . .Repubs to debate (6.00 / 1)
From the Boston Herald:

State Sen. Scott Brown and Duxbury attorney Jack E. Robinson are vying for the GOP nomination on Dec. 8, and they're squaring off in a debate Monday morning at the Langham Hotel.

The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is hosting the forum so the two could discuss their views on health care, the economy and education issues. The moderator is Bill Purcell, the former mayor of Nashville and a public policy lecturer at the John F. Kennedy School of Government

Note to Neil  - Coakley will NOT be at this debate.

It's a forum, not a debate. (0.00 / 0)
Will it even be on tv?
