They were on the radio – Coakley, Scottie, and the other dude. Having not heard a word of it, I can confidently state that Coakley won, having not declared that she was opposed to babies, puppies, or apple pie. đŸ˜‰
The candidates debate again tonight. This one’s televised, but not live; you can watch it at … wait for it … 8 a.m. Sunday morning. HA HA HA HA!!

Who thinks the turnout might actually be less than for the primaries?

The energy generated by Coakley and Brown aren’t enough to make a low-watt bulb flicker. Although I’ve not paid much attention to Brown (does one really need to?) I have been following the dems closely, and I have to say I can’t remember a candidate who generated less enthusiasm in a campaign than Martha Coakley does currently.

I listened and live-Tweeted it (@WatertownDem). Scott Brown really wants us all to think that he’s the next JFK because he’s handsome and JFK cut the income tax, therefore JFK would support keeping the Bush Tax cuts.

as the next JFK, yadda, yadda, yadda, but I see him as more in the mold of Mitt Romney, claiming to be more socially moderate than he actually is, and riding in the front car of the national Republican rhetoric train.

It’ll also be broadcast Monday evening at 7 PM (Channel 38).
Or you could have watched it on wbztv.com live.

p>I thought it played politically neutral – I’ll bet no candidate made any gains. Possible exception – Kennedy came off as not insane and not shallow. Which might hurt Brown – a possible Mass mini-Scozzafava?

Has frequently stated her position AGAINST babies being born. I believe it was “Abortion for all or healthcare for none!”.

At the start of tonight’s debate, moderator Jon Keller announced it was being shown live on C-SPAN in addition to the live webcast. Combined with Sunday at 8 a.m. on Channel 4 (OK, not the best) and Monday at 7 p.m. on Channel 38 (not bad), that’s pretty good exposure.

p>I was there, and I live-blogged it. If you’re interested, please have a look.
