That's just an omen (0.00 / 0)
that the gods are happy Dianne wilkerson finally got nabbed.

Or maybe God is showing Her gay pride? (6.00 / 1)

Let me get this straight: Democrats protest war, Republicans protest health care?

[ Parent ]
that's not a pride rainbow (0.00 / 0)
Real rainbows have an infinite number of colors in them, each blending smoothly into the next, but pride rainbows have six colors, each one separate and distinct.  The distinct colors reinforce the idea that people fit into boxes that do not mix, like L, G, B, T etc.

My monitor... (0.00 / 0)
...doesn't have strong enough resolution to see this rainbow's smoothly blended infinite colors. Thanks for clearing that up.

Although, maybe God decided to put Her own artistic interpretation on the Pride rainbow and that's why it looks a little different. I guess we'll never know.

say what? (6.00 / 1)

Of all the crazy things I've seen you post (and god knows there's a lot), that's among the craziest.  There a number of variants on the rainbow flag.  The gay pride version is your classic ROYGBV variety:

Aside from the obvious symbolism of a mixed LGBT community, the colors were designed to symbolize: red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), blue (harmony), and purple/violet (spirit). It is most commonly flown with the red stripe on top, as the colours appear in a natural rainbow.

Trust you to turn a statement of inclusion into something sick.

Boy are you guys in for one hell of a letdown (0.00 / 0)
come next February.

I'm expecting to be disappointed many many times (0.00 / 0)
Some vintage Tom Tomorrow on the subject:

I'm even looking forward to that.

Why? Will Bush refuse to leave office? (6.00 / 3)

The government we get (6.00 / 2)
is the one we deserve. We can make this administration a good one by strong pressure from underneath, or we can sit on the sidelines and complain. My hope, and I think this is reasonable, is that Obama is a good listener and will respond accordingly.

Nice Picture, did the red light provide the opportunity? (0.00 / 0)
Another omen is that the fifth game of the World Series did not complete due to Monday's weather, and didn't get re-scheduled for Tuesday based on the forecast weather, but rather falls into the slot immediately following Obama's "infomercial", in a game that is likely shortened by the 5 and 1/2 innings already completed.

Ahem, (6.00 / 2)
isn't the Fleet Center at the end of the Zakem bridge?  You can go with the political theories, but I'm leaning on Red Auerbach for that rainbow's presence yesterday afternoon myself.

Copies available? (0.00 / 0)
I would just like a color copy.

go to our flickr site (0.00 / 0)
Click here -- I think there's a way to order a print, or you can just do it on your computer.

btw -- I took it with my phone -- 2MP camera, pretty good for a phone, but still not necessarily the best resolution.

So what politics do you deserve?
