New Progressive Talk Radio Voice, Samantha Clemens, Saturday Mornings WWZN 1510AM

by: roborig

Fri Jul 31, 2009 at 18:04:29 PM EDT

There's a new local Progressive Talk Radio Show in Boston on Revolution Boston WWZN 1510AM, every Saturday Morning from 10-11am.
roborig :: New Progressive Talk Radio Voice, Samantha Clemens, Saturday Mornings WWZN 1510AM
Hope you'll tune in for The Samantha Clemens Show this Saturday morning from 10 to 11 ET on WWZN AM 1510, RevolutionBoston, streaming live at www.samanthaclemens.com

On the Show This Week:
"I am not a racist" says Officer Justin Barrett, now suspended from the Boston Police Department AND the National Guard. He compared Gates to a "banana-eating jungle monkey." Samantha's already gotten calls and emails from friends and family members asking "what the heck is going on in your town.  For crying out loud!"

HEET - Hot enough for you? Spending too much on the electric bill? Dreading winter heating bills? Want to make your house energy efficient but just haven't gotten around to it? George Mokray joins us to talk about a cool new way to get your house green without costing a fortune. And, the best part is that it's actually conserving! (you know, what that word used to mean.)

You are urged to call in to the show at 617 237 1234. Stream it live on the internet or listen later at www.samanthaclemens.com where you can also find podcasts of prior shows (the new show launched last month).

Note: Local activists worked hard to bring progressive talk radio back to Boston

Samantha's great. (6.00 / 1)
I've listened to all 7 of her WWZN shows, either live or via podcast.

Where is WWZN Located ? (0.00 / 0)
And who owns it?
1510 is the famous Radio Frequency of WMEX where Jerry Williams got his Boston start in 1957.
1510 has had many owners over the past 52 years and many formats - from Talk to Music to Sports to Foreign Language now back to Talk.

They did Talk in the mid 1980's as WMRE. It was located in the same location in the Fenway Park/Kenmore Square area where the original WMEX was located.

The studio is in Quincy & the transmitter is in Waltham AFAIK (0.00 / 0)

and don't forgot 1510 WITS is where the Big O, Glenn Ordway, got his start on sports talk radio. Probably still can't hear the station outside of RT128 after sunset!

You can't run a Cadillac on a Chevrolet budget, and GM can't either!
