You heard it here first: Claire Naughton, the Democrat running for state Representative in the 1st Bristol, has a campaign web site. And I'm joining her campaign: I'll probably do some volunteer work and some paid work. Starting with setting up the web site I linked to above - as far as I know, this is the first public link anywhere on the Internet.
The district is Foxboro, half of Mansfield, half of Norton. The map looks rather odd. The election is Tuesday, January 7th.
With the filing deadline past, we now know there will be only two candidates on the ballot: one Republican, one Democratic. Claire is a retired teacher whose husband is currently assistant principal of Norton High School, and she's a former chair of the Foxboro Democratic Town Committee. I think this is a district we can flip to blue, and I want to help make that happen. |
